I will be on vacation for the next 2 weeks.
My appendix decided to quit on Tuesday night, and instead of going quietly, it burst, made me septic, and tried to kill me. Little bastard.


I just got home from the hospital, and as soon as I hit enter, I'm going to bed.
Everyone enjoy their weekend.

 

Just looking for one that I can drop in that wont **** the bed in 6 months. JY engines are always a crapshoot.

 

All used engines are a big chance . Rebuilt from a reputable companys only way to roll.

 

The lkq in west palm had a newer style cherokee with the 4.0 motor but obviously not guarantee if it's running unless you talk to the guys to try and start it up to hear it running

What's wrong with yours? I have one, just need to pull it out of the vehicle.

 

Knockin is getting worse, and it's just running like general crap now. Not throwing any CEL's. I think it's just tired. I'd bet a compression test would show less than desirable numbers. Seems like it's lived a long life of neglect.

Morning everyone.

I have an engine for that member who is looking. I got it out of a 92 XJ and put a new oil pump on it and new head gasket, actually put all new gaskets on motor. Had it sold to a buddy and then he sold his project. Message me if your interested. I know it runs well, came out of a running and driving vehicle. I just parted it out for some parts I needed.

Well Monte decide a new radiator was more important than me working on Xj . Try again next weekend.

It happens though...
Went to the jy today didn't really find anything Interesting but I did happen to see a 92 Laredo with with a burgendy tilt column and saw a very CLEAN 96 Dakota with the amc 2.5 and the 5speed which I was tempted to grab the bellhousing again..

 

The front bearing retainers the money maker . Ya sure did but now akll cooling items are new. And waterways were spotless inside .Thats one less headache to worry about . Might knock a couple of small todos of xj list tomorrow. Wont know untill I get up.
