It's about an hour and 40 min drive for me according to Google. I'd consider it if more people went along.

The problem with Corbett is that it's limited as to the dates you can ride.

You've been lucky. The only major places they don't want you going is under the powerlines (Powerline Grade) because that's FPLs right of way, not Corbetts and also don't go tear up the ponds. Other than that, stay to the trails and theyre ok.

Yeah I was just reading an article about people tearing up ponds as what not...people seem as a mud hole and killing the wildlife(plants, etc.)

Yes. Two of our club members are FWC officials so we get informed of these things. If you stay to the trails, there's a great mix of sand, mud, rock, and water to have fun. It's just a couple dumb kids that want to try and ruin it because they want ALL mud.

I was there Sunday too in my buddies stock JKU. It was alot dried over the holiday weekend before. The powerline road at the north gate looked to be more than two foot. We came out at the south end which seemed a little drier. We may go this weekend with a group. If you go in the future PM me, I like that place.

It's not a bad place if you respect it and don't be one of the afore mentioned idiots. FWC doesn't mind respectful people. Hell, I went and followed Merk and my stepdad and they were on 33's and 35's in deep water, while I was in a stock CJ5 on 31's. Just ease into the water and don't throttle blast it once in, you'll be fine. I grew up in Corbett and Dupuis (they butt up)
