What all did you check b4 it started and what results did you get ?

Checked first the wires at the battery post, wiggled them tried to restart no luck, check spark plug wires and everything was fine tried to start no luck, check connector 101 tried to restart no luck, check for fuel and fuel was available, tried to start and it fired right up and shut off after 3 seconds, I unplugged the o2 sensor, tps, idle speed controller, switched the relays around, and fired right up and idled for a good 10 seconds and shuts off, waited a bit checked the vacuum hoses to see if any were loose, corroded and what not and all seemed good,went to start the truck fired right up and truck ran great all the way home....
This morning the truck ran perfect no low idle, no problems with starting, and didn't shut off on me....
This has happened to me once before when I first started driving the truck 2 years ago and didn't skip a beat until now

You have this on driver fender well if so clean connections if dirty or bypass it and see if it changes the idle . or no start happens again...

You mean the ballest resistor?
The 4 cyl didn't have that...the biggest complications to the fuel pump is the ground in the rear tail light which I always clean after I go off road to make sure for a clean ground...

Ever install a fuel pump yet ? Its hard fixing a running vehicle.

This weather was absolutely horrible. I drove from Homestead back home to West kendal all through the Redlands. So many puddles!!! Now my jeep started idling rough -.-

50 plus constant winds at Broward and University tonight with larger gust at times.

We got bad 60+ gusts last night up here.

Hey 88, I had a 89 Mj in my shop one time for that problem. Ended up being the B+ relay was going bad.

Power latch relay ?

That's the one. Just make sure those connections are clean as well. Sometimes the smallest n simplest things will give you the biggest headache.

Where is this located?...is it where all the relays line up?
Going to auto parts after work to get this relay and clean that area out for clean mating surfaces
