one of the main guys were trying to set it up with,ill talk today ithink were gonna ride to the ferry get on it and check out the trails out that way,but i think its going to be a go

 

yeah a group i ride with called Clay County 4x4 just did that, they started in crescent city and went to the ferry and road out that way they said it was alot of fun, some nice tight trails and some nice wide trails, i love wheeling in ocala everything is diffrent

 

yep thats why we go just about every weekend but we usally go at night so its a little diffrent

 

from what i heard riding the trails at night is forbidden...you never get in trouble?

 

why would it be forbiden? ive been doing it for about 4-5 years with all kinds of people and mid fl jeep club does a ride once a month and its a night ride cause of everbodys work schedule.... ive never heard anything like that ,its againnst the law to go hunting at night that would be the closet ive heard of night activity that would be illegal,you be suprised to be so far out and then pass a group of people,it doesent happen very often but the forest is so big but it does happen

 

when we plan this ride on the 7th in altoona its going to be at 9am unless every body wants to do it at 8am,so far its def at 9am and im working with other people to also meet up with us to but so far everybodys down with it ...ready to go JEEPIN

 

i know i read it before, awhile ago, that is why every time i was up there i would stop before nightfall. oh well, i missed out on some opportunities.

9 am is fine, i'd even be willing to do earlier. usually i arrive in ocala right before sunrise and i wheel all day, until the sun sets. do you plan on camping over and wheel that sunday, too?

 

man i would love to do that,i was getting ready to shoot some tree rats and dove for our next camping trip,if your down with it than i am to im sure my buddy is lets see what everybobody wants to do,,,i found a nice place the other night it doesnt have a lake but theres plenty of room to camp..thats a great idea though i would like to do it,i also talked to a gw about primitave camping in the woods and he told me as long as its not the main part of hunting season in the beging,but if you want to camp at a lake we could work something out for that night..il have my son with me..7 old years die hard jeeper in the makinglet me see what everybody else wants to do but if not im down for some camping:th umbup1::th umbup1::th umbup1::th umbup1:

 

either way i'll be camping...i never do ocala in just one day, always camping out. last time i was there i was in the middle of no where on the trail, just pulled over and set up camp there.

i know of a large area to camp, never have myself, but there is always a fire pit there and is a good area to wheel too.

what area are you talking about we found a big sand pit the other night ,it was real big and it be a perfect place for camping theres just no lake real close..i think a couple guys are going riding this sunday just tryin to figure out what time and place
