looking for places to go wheeling @ or around eastern NC ...please help.
Alright guys I need a lil help I need to find a place to go offroading around me I live in Jacksonville NC..im tired of mudding in between the powerlines behind Walgreen's on gum branch road and Henderson. Any suggestions??.

Shouldnt be too far from jville. Maybe an hour an a half. I've got family in swansboro/hubert area. LOVE IT down there.

We use to go out on Camp Johnson but it has been awhile since I have been out there and heard they shut it down to joy riders. I think the powerllines off Murrill Hill rd are closed now too. The last time me a couple buddies went out we went down to Carolina Backwoods it was a really good time. There is a small trail out by my house that runs next to a creek that gets pretty nasty, and right across the street from me is field with some decent sized rocks that I have played on. Other than that most of the local places I know of are shut down or have been turned into housing developments.

^Thats soo true. This morning I went out to a park lol:P and got super stuck. But yup I go on camp Johnson everyday...lets just say the back roads aint what they used to be on that base...=/ Disappointing even near the motor t building.

Yeah that sucks I guess it has been almost 4 yrs since we were back there playing around in the trails and it was a good time no one seemed to care. Last weekend I was leaving the junkyard and saw about 10 wanglers and a couple xj's heading down 53 toward Holly shelter dont know where they were going but would assume they were heading out to go play somewhere. Have heard there are some trails out that way but dont know for sure.

Carolina forest turnt into a huge housing development. Ive searched and searched and I cant find a damn thing back there. Everything being built on :/
