Na PC was just my first time out with it. Just opted for a trail ride with a friend last minute that lives down that way. I've been to Lewis a couple times with a couple people. PC is definitely a trail ride more than and off road park. A few side trails that have some pretty good inclines and ruts but nothing that serious.

You need to go back to square one here I think. You have air in the system somewhere. Since they've been soft since you changed the master cyl, I'd go back and bleed the master cylinder, then re-bleed the entire system.

I assume you still have the original rubber lines on the front? Did you use the rear rubber line from the 44?
The only thing I can think of, especially if the soft pedal showed up before the MC swap, is a bad rubber line. These can and do fail over time, and they can expand like a balloon when pressure's applied. Could be with the engine off (and no booster assitance), they hold OK, but with the add'l booster pressure, they are expanding.
If it's bled completely, and the problem existed before the MC was changed, I'd look there. You will probably want new extended lines any sooner than later. Look at some mid-09's chevy pick up front lines for cheap, extended replacements. They're like $15 a piece and wouldn't take you an hour to swap and bleed the fronts again.
Of course, this is all internet wrenching, and your results may vary!
