Clay pit in Baker Florida.
Well this past weekend my girlfriend and I went too Baker from Gulfbreeze too meet with a buddy of mine I used too work with too shred some mud. Well my buddy took us back in the woods of Baker too this clay pit that his friends and him usually romp through in their trucks. After running through this large muddy puddle a few times I felt my power steering get tight.. that only means one thing..
I popped my hood and sure enough the serpentine belt came off the water pump which resulted in me having to be towed back too a friends house too fix it. Since then I've purchased a Gator Grip universal socket too keep in my truck but I'm also trying too find skid plates that will help greatly reduce the amount of under splash that hits my engine.
Here's a few pics of my Jeep after muddin' through a clay pit.. the only mods on my Jeep are K&N intake, custom exhaust some spider tail lights and some car audio work done.. the front drive shaft is out because of some weird *** part in front of the transfer case is busted and completely shredded the u-joint, and with the area I live in, having full 4 wheel drive would murder my already terrible gas mileage..
Any suggestions on skid plates?
