Hey Dave is the stock x-member bolts the only thing holding the new x-member because with the mounts there you'll have a lot more stress on them.

Bought alternator off eBay, would not turn when arrived , noted case bent at mount contacted seller, did not get much of a response other than it worked when I sent it to you, pulled old alternator apart and swapped cases, now to install on the jeep to see if it works for a few rides
Had pretty good experiences, purchased 2 cars off eBay and many small things, sold a bunch of stuff also. Junk yards are not carrying older vehicles as much any more, they are all going to the crusher.

I'm not sure what that last line means but the steel is like 18 gauge and I'm not sure how you'd get good penetration without burning through. But if you're happy that's all that matters.
