Screw rustys steering! I wouldnt want the ends being the weak point since they use stock tre's. I went with ZJ steering.

 

ZJ ends are stock just have a bend so the tie rod end sits lower. The Rusty's isn't bad, works just like any other crossover set up. Just has 10" of lift, that's why his upper tie rod end on the drag link wears fast, too much angle. And I offered to build him a set up with heims but he had to have Rusty's.

 

ZJ rods and ends are a LOT bigger than stock XJ rods.

 

the 8 inch pitman drop helps a lil bit.

 

Rods are thicker but ends are basically the same minus the bend. I've built several and had one and they will bend too just not quite as easy.

 

The zj ends are a decent bit bigger than the xj ends. Gotta do an allignment now

 

Can't be that much bigger since they will thread in a XJ tie rod and fit the same knuckles. Guess the 3 ZJs I've built and/or owned all had small ones. Although only 2 of them were V8s.

Does ANYONE have or know someone who has some 33s on soft 8s or d windows? Im trying to trade 5 BFG km1s with JK Moabs for some.. Ill throw in the adapters to make em fit on an xj.

 

It's at Camp Jordan. There's 18 fights but I think only 5 or 6 are professional.
