Hate that I didn't make it but my ball joints are shot and I didn't want that kind of breakage on the trail. Knowing how I wheel I'd have came out 3 wheeling.

We ended up having some breakage which sucked..not horrible though.
1 Cherokee demolished a rear d shaft after finding out it was too long. Swapped in a shorter one.
My buddy in his 1st gen toyota on 38" Treps broke a rear u joint after bouncing around on moab.
The same xj that broke the d shaft kelled over at one of the worst spots on the trail right as it started pooring rain..had to be pulled alll the way back to the top.

Travis, that could have been the problem all along! If you can't get the exhaust out, you certainly can't get air/fuel in!
Saw it off ahead of the pinch, and consider it self-measured for proper clearance.
We followed your tracks out, assumed you made it out fine.

I left a note and tried to send David a message, probably should get phone numbers next time, just wanted to get the jeep home, not sure when the exhaust thing happened but that would cause the manifold to get excessively hot, put a pair o vice grips and left the good sit up 6 inches and it made it out ok, just noticed the exhaust sounded weird on the way home
