I've only met Wrangler guys around here and they don't seem to like my XJ lol. Any of you XJ guys near Knoxville want to get a beer or go wheeling soon? I'm in Blount co.

Nice! That Windrock? Live in the area?
Just moved to TN back in June, left my Jeep friends which sucks since we wheeled on the weekends and drank during the week haha. I tried joining a Jeep group, but they're all Wrangler guys, and they didn't seem too thrilled about a doorless XJ showing up to their M&G lol

That's the Sandmines. Royal Blue, over by the Caryville flats.
I'm in north west Knoxville. Ur just not looking at the right jeep club. Most likely that was the yuppy club in k town. There is another one or 2 that is more about riding and less about "frames" and doors. Don't know if forum rules allow my to name them or not, so ill just tell u to Google search these terms... knox off road, titan off road, Tennessee mountain junkies, there is probably a couple other good "terms" to search, but that should get u started

I used to go in my 1500, I plan to take the xj out soon. It's always fun with more people if your down?
Anyone still active in Murfreesboro? I'm diagnosing a crank no start and I'm thinking it could be the coil. I would love to be able to try a known good coil on it and see if it starts. Its a friends jeep, 89 Laredo with the 4.0.
We had voltage at the coil so I was about to rip out the aftermarket coil but noticed the reply connections.
Were in Spring hill but he is only home on the weekend.
