I'd definitely like to hit up TJR some time... especially now that my wife caught the Jeep bug. Probably won't happen until after the new year though. We'll be in Kentucky when they're doing the event on the 24th and after that is saving up for Christmas and we're usually pretty busy around that time anyway.

Try LKQ, man. They usually have a good selection.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. The Jeep dealership I work at literally has one right next door lol. I'll check them out tomorrow. Online says they have a few Cherokees.

You're welcome lol. Before you go, measure the length of your front driveshaft. I can't remember, but I think the ZJ fronts are only an inch or so longer and would still work... especially since you're lifted.

I ended up with one from a 98 XJ, auto. Having my Jeep towed to my shop so didn't have it for measurements but from everything I read it should be fine.

Well I did this today. Along with the ball joints and new front hubs. I did the sye with the transfer case still attached. I got halfway through taking the bolts out to pull out and said heck might as well do it here. Wasn't bad at all but those damn snap rings!!! Finagled the ones I needed to get out and ended to installing the new ones with two needle nose pliers. I have some slight vibes but I still need relocation brackets for the rear. Overall I'm happy with it. Don't mind the red around the case. That's anaerobic gasket maker.

Go fish!

There's a HP Dana 30 out of a 95 4cyl at the LKQ in Gainesville... missing the steering knuckles and axleshafts though. I was going to pull the diff for the 4.10 gears, but I didn't have the time.

Anyone know of any "trails" in Seminole county I can go putts around at? Maybe south Volusia? Nothing serious, just something to test the 4wd out and I don't want to drive far. I just got a donor jeep and thought it'd be fun to mess around in it before I start tearing it down.
