My XJ is red with gold stripes and life would be so much easier if I could have just put regular aluminum wheels on it. But I just can't bring myself to mix the gold & aluminum because to me that clashes ... Maybe that means I am OCD, but not hypocritical.

I look at it this way, from a purchasing standpoint, I'd buy a jeep like that. Why?.......
I know it hasn't been tortured offroad, it most likely has been babied, wheels can be removed and sold to buy a different set. No harm done. Buy a built trail rig, and who knows what has been done to it, or how it may have been compromised. For those reasons I give it

The only newly customized any thing with 4 wheels in this area is the old loads on stilts and rubber bands.
Poor kids there taste sucks BUT there actual doing something.

, even though it doesn't suit my tastes.Ha! My 91 XJ that I just bought had 18" chromes on it! It's funny you say that, because it was babied, and it drives like a f***ing dream! I just rolled over 197,400 in it, too. It's my daily ... I'll put some pics up of it.
