Awesome info Rock. I'll try my hardest to be there. It'll be hard with my wife being preggo with our second child. I'm on a short rope. lol. And the 26th is close to the due date. We shall see, though.

hummm june 26... I'm off work and I may come out.
Me and a few friends hit Tray on Friday night. It was awesome it was really muddy and they just redid the road so it was also vary muddy and slippery.
Before the mud

Here are the rides at 1? something in the morning.

My jeep

Pretty good time and only damage was I slid into a tree and dented my pass. front fender in right behind the head light. No big deal.

Well, I think i need an oil pump. And that still might not save the Jeep. Might be looking at another engine. Not 100% diagnosed yet. I guess I'll be doing an oil pump next weekend. Then we will go from there.

.....oil pressure gauge goes crazy, when I got it...it stayed on zero, so I replaced the sending unit...now it reads at about 20 and drops to zero when sitting still. From what I have read the pick up tube might be clogged up. Oil pump isn't gonna break the bank I wouldn't think, it's just doing it. Plus I have a pretty bad lifter knock, but again only at idle. (< pretty common in these though)

Taht's the exact, and i mean exact same thing mine is doing. It won't be too difficult from looking under there. I've built plenty of honda engines. So, it shouldn't be too bad. The replacement pump is 70 bucks at autozone. And that comes with the pickup tube and everything. I'll be tackling that on Friday.

This is way off topic, but do you know anyone who would be interested in a 89 XJ? Its a 4 door 4x4 w/ 17xxxx miles on it. Its super cheap and runs great, very quite. My brother is needing, note needing not wanting, to sale it.
