Ginger boy, Unicoi and Tallulah Gorge are nice state parks near the state line.
I have been to Panther Creek. I hiked several miles there years ago and got to the waterfall on a long *** loop, but I am sure there are several ways to get there easier. The way I went had a 1.5' wide wet ledge you had to scoot along with a rickety *** chain to prevent you from falling off a ledge and dying, so I wouldn't take the kids that way. Doesn't look like it has gotten better or that the bridge was replaced.
This place is nice too. Dont see anything about power sites though.

the battlefield kinda blows, I mean I guess it would be cool to see if you didn't drive through it every day, but there's tons of parks around here. Cloudland canyon is awesome long hikes and waterfalls out the ***, but I don't know if there's a place to swim. Pigeon mountain is awesome for rock climbing and caving, but again nowhere to swim.

Man, I really want a go pro and want to make some badass videos. Or at least I think they would be lol.
I want to make an pole out of an paint roller extension pole and mount the go pro to that for some cool walk around and mobile shots while wheeling to capture other peoples rigs. I think I could get some really cool stuff out of walking around someones Jeep while they try something on the trails.
Kinda like this video, just in 1080p and hopefully not as shaky.
I typically don't like music in offroad videos, but in this case I think it is better than listening to a spotter. As long as the music is good lol.

We are in the same boat on this. If I remember to charge it, I forget to turn it on, otherwise I just forget to charge it.
