Plywood is too hard compared to Oak. Particle board would probably be the best material. And definitely DONT use a sealer on it, or else it wont set up properly.

And what the hell does OSB stand for? Old Saggy *****?

.. didnt you see all of our suggestions? I've actually got a winch plate you could steal some dimensions off of if you want.

Well I know the 4 bolts need to go through my bumper but i dont know what i should put under the winch and fairlead because the 3/16 isnt strong enough.

I'm not sure what this winch plate is.. I'm thinking maybe 3/8"? I've actually got another that i'll give you if i can find it. You could cut it up and weld it to your bumper. It's already got the plate for the fairlead and everything.

I think im going to measure and take some 1/4 or 3/8 flat stock and make a base for the winch. Then, weld a rectangle up for the fairlead. and probably gusset it somehow. Wont know till i get it.

You could always message Dennis and tell him to send you some pictures of how his winch is mounted up.
