Did not know ZR2 leafs fit on Cherokees... Will that possibly eliminate axle wrap? Lol

I don't know. My Jeep I just got has blocks on the rear axle. Big blocks, so i want to get rid of those and I should get about the same lift with the S10 leafs.

Check yourself real well before you buy them. I think there was some S10s sitting at the LKQ junkyard if you want to get them.

Got the wobble mostly taken care. After looking closely at the suspension I noticed the tie rod was bent some. Replaced it with a tierod from a grand Cherokee and all is well. Now to start tackling this stupid suspension setup. Got to get rid of the blocks and make some shackle relo brackets.

Im not close but I have an older lincoln arc welder, my friend has a MIG, and another friend with a Hobart mobile ARC welder/generator(on a trailer). I have a BAG(Big *** Grinder) and a small grinder as well as work space in my garage.

After looking at all of the different options available, I am confident that I can build a 1-ton setup.............(famous last words)

Right now I am looking to do a 3 link on the front of my Jeep. Just trying to price out materials locally cause I know shipping will be killer. Might even have to look into the steering too. I know I would like to get rid of the stock stuff.

There are a couple of offroad shops in HSV. Rocket City Offroad and TRO Offroad.

Building a 3 link is alittle more work than steering linkage, but if you can do it yourself, more power to you...........thats probably one part that I will buy pre-built.

Anyone like to fish? Im gonna go fishing saturday morning some where around east huntsville.........like Paint Rock River or Flint River............my usual saturday morning past time.

Love to fish, but we just moved my grandma and I will be building her new deck front and back of her house. Plus I am on call.
