Hows everyone doin on here?? Douglas ga here but been n and will be n yalls necks the woods doin all this disaster clean up. 8/ hope everyone faired well. Lmk if anyone lplans a ride, xjs back home but will b picking er up when motors done and be able 2 ride after work. Staying in Riverside bout 45 mins from Bham and 20 from Oxford.

Hi everyone,
The name is Gene, but most of my buddies call me BigGene, married to Miranda, 2 little ones, Wesley 3 1/2, Izzy 2 1/2. The wife has a 1999 WJ Grand Cherokee Laredo, bone stock. I hope to talk her into a BB and 31's at least, but I am just biding my time until she lets me get another XJ for myself.
Back before we met, I had a 94 XJ, 3" Rusty's lift, running 33's on stock rims. Like some kind of freaking idiot, I swapped it to my girlfriend's son for a 1998 GMC pickup. I have kicked myself in the *** mentally every day since then for that little debacle, but I look forward to getting another XJ and finishing what I started with BigRed.
I am also into VW's, and I currently have 2 1967 Beetles. Mine is rolling, just waiting for my lazy butt to do paint prep and spray it, and my little boy's 67 is completely blown apart waiting on Daddy to restore it for him.

Checking in from the Athens / Huntsville area. I originally hale from further south. (Hamilton)
Here is my first XJ and then the one I traded it for.
Its a work in progress. Despite the body work, most of which I have completed in my yard, it's a much better vehicle than the first.

new to the fourm from jacksonville al looking to get me a 87 cherokee soon maybe... hope to be riding again had to get rid of my 85 sr5 4runner to go to college
