You guys missed a good trip and prob one of the last since Aetna will be closed as of May 1st. If you've never been you better plan a trip soon. I'll post some pics in the trip section.

The cop pointed out a new sign (4'x8') as you turn in from the subdivision that says they will be building a road to the top of the mt. and we will no longer have access. It was just a matter of time, it's been coming for years and nobody would stand up for the offroaders. Tried myself to form groups to fight but no one would step up to help.

 

I wonder if the back way will still be accessible. From the Wildwood Ga exit off of I 24?

 

Are you talking about the WERock lease or the road that goes under the railroad tracks? WERock will still be there but I haven't been the other way in years since all the trails off the main road are gated due to private property and leases. I'm told there is a public access somewhere several miles down the road pass both of those but not sure where it is. Big Fork is going to be really crowded soon and hate to think of some of the Aetna hooligans ruining it.

 

I'm talking about the public access road under the tracks, the last video I made we came out that way. It is easy but longer to get in to Aetna. I will access the trails as long as possible as long as I'm not trespassing.
