Woodward Dream Cruise
Everyone from southeast Michigan knows that the dream cruise is usually just a bunch of classic cars, tuners, and race cars. I thought it would be a REALLY cool idea to get a bunch of people on the forum together and have us all drive in a line through the Dream Cruise. It doesn't need to be an XJ either, as long as we all have Jeeps. What would be even better is if we all get as muddy as possible which would guarantee to turn heads.
We'll have a central meeting location based on where everyone's driving from.
Let me know if you're willing to join. It'll be something new that hasn't been done before!

I would do this, go to the cruise every year anyway. Let's trash our jeeps, get them nice and coated, then parade through. Represent the other demographic of vehicle enthusiasts!

That would remind me of when PT Cruisers first came out. People were paying over MSRP for them, because they seemed to some as an instant classic. (Which we now know was not remotely the case.) The people that bought them were so proud that many actually showed up for the Woodward Dream Cruise with their PT Cruisers the year they were introduced. Can you imagine?
I love my XJ, but IMHO leave the Dream Cruise to the classics.

But the cruise as a whole, is more than just classics. There's lifted trucks and dune buggies in it too, so I don't see why XJ owners shouldn't drive on through aswell.
