it was a great time. Ford Motor Company was there jumping brand new raptors! That was pretty sweet. And thanks man, I put lots of time into it. Still much more to do lol.

 

hey, i heard from a guy at work that on memorial day at silver lake, they have a concert somewhere... does anyone now anything of this?

 

No I havent, but Im looking to do something for memorial day, possibly silver lake. You probably live close enough to where you dont have to worry about camping or anything huh?

 

Almost every bar in the area has a band Memorial Day Weekend. It's freaking madness up there. PITA to get a voucher too. I think I waited in line for 2 hours last year. I'll admit I was ill prepared, but jeez. I stay away on weekends and holidays...Not that it isn't fun. Just too many IDIOTS and inexperienced ********.

 

Yes the vouchers are a hassel for sure. Last time we went we had one person go get everyones voucher in our group then they repayed him buy paying for his voucher. yeah and last memorial day I went I seen a guy get his arm ripped off in a motorcycle and four wheeler collision. But other than that it was a blast! lol

 

Maybe with gas prices it won't be so crazy. Last year, we went up for the the first week of july and didn't need to wait for anything...

 

yea im about 45 minutes away, ive never been there on memorial day, is it really that busy i dont want to wait in line for 2 hours, im bringing girls and im trying to "show them a good time" if you get my drift

 

Um it gets pretty busy, but I think all the people add to the fun. Also if you go early to the voucher drive through thing it shouldnt be to long of a wait, just plan it right and you should be good.
