nukinfuts29 has a decent list going ( I dont see miethead on it....hhmmmm) but it seems pretty even east/west Michigan, it might be we will have a group from west meeting with the group from the east some where with the "middle guys" (bad thing to be in the middle in a group of guys.....sorry had to say it...LOL!!) should be a good show heading to the blessing though. Really looking forward to this....good idea nukinfuts29!!!

The 30th is the correct date, thats a typo i have to correct. The green page is all they have setup, but my original post has all the information in it we (should) need.

The original post needs a little updating but apparently it has a timeout on editing so i need to request the ability to keep updating it from the staff.

As many of us will be interested in attending Blessing of the Jeeps this year (April 30th, 2011), the point of this thread is to maintain a roster of those interested in meeting up before hand and driving up together. Nothing better then a huge line of Jeeps storming up US-131

We would need to select an area common to us all to meet before making the drive north, which we can do when everyone has checked in. When replying please make a clear statement of your intent to join this group so i can modify the roster. If i miss you, please PM me so i can add you.

I need your username and home town, like shown below. I have started the list at 10 and will add as we go. If you are under 21 please let me know so that we can make this meeting friendly to all of us.

***********
PRE-REGISTRATION for the actual event is done through the website (http://www.cadillacjeepers.com/) and will open up in mid Febuary. You do NOT need to register, you can pay when you show up at the event. The cost of the event is $5 per vehicle to enter the event. If you want to go on the track it is $20 per driver. This information is directly from Jake on 1/30/11.

I'm thinking Grand Rapids to be honest. We have people coming from every point, but it doesn't seem like we have many coming from North of GR (unless i missed something) so this could be a good fold in point. Other ideas include Big Rapids, because it's North of GR by about 40 minutes and may work better?

I'm open to all suggestions about where we should meet up. We may have to pick a location good for all of us and have a few groups pile into that place. For example theres a few guys below me, so if our meeting place was North those guys could always meet with me and we would come north to the rest of the group.

wildspear you don't see my name on there because I don't want to say I am coming when I am not 100% yet. I was waiting till I knew for sure till I brought it up, but oh well lol, I am waiting to for some paperwork to go through then they will make the job offer. Full time fire and about 3 times what i make now. I would hate to tell you guys I will be there and then not be able to and I m not gonna ask for time off that soon.

I"m pretty sure the plan was to have the peeps come from the east and west and meet in the middle, then as we make our way towards the blessing we would pick up others along the way. But there is alot of time to discover the best spots to meet at. If someone has one of those programs where you can place pins (what towns were all at) on a map and post it that would be a great way to tell, I work better with pictures.

Hey thanks, I am already on a paid on call dept have been for almost 7 years. Then plan as of now is that I will be coming and I am gonna do my best to still come if I get this job. We could always meet up here on the east side and run 69 across to GR and pick up people along the way. it runs from the east side almost right thru lansing and then hits GR.
