Rubi update. After wheeling at maples on Memorial Day i had low oil pressure and a knock around 2500rpm. New oil pressure sender, new oil, new filter x2, mech oil press gauge, valve cover removed, new gasket, oil pan dropped, new gasket, new oil pump, some plastigauge, new rod bearings, new oil pump drive assy (distributerless cam sensor), more new oil.....gonna fire it up in the morning. Hoping for all to be well.
Doing all the work myself (a lot for the first time) priceless.

I can confirm this. I have 31's on my xj (3.55 auto lifted 4.5") and mj (3.07 5spd stock). The mj is so much more sluggish than the xj. I am going to swap out that tirdy5 for 8.8 one day, and the front to match the gearing because it will be so much easier than trying to regear IMO

I'm just getting into the jeep scene. Name is Travis i'm in Strasburg. I have wheeled trackers for a few years and love them dearly, but my family has gotten bigger and need the room for the kid to ride. Hope to hit up wellsville next weekend.
