The front bumper is almost done being built. I'll build more if I feel like they will sell. The rear is on my Jeep now.

This is how it sits now. Not welded up yet. I'm trying to figure out what to do to the bottom of the bumper. Either I was going to add material like 2 inch flat stock.. Angle it into the Jeep to give the bottom of it shape. Or I'm going to trim the 2x4 at an angle on the ends. From about 10 inches in to the end..if you know what I'm saying. Opinions welcome. I also have to cut and weld in the two d ring tabs. Every thing is .25 and the d ring tabs are .5

Is that rear or front? If its front why not build the mounting to where it slides into the frame rail. Then it could be welded or bolted threw the frame rail

What you mean slides on to frame rail? Its front and its getting made just like all the other front bumpers. The mount is like 15 inches long.

Thats cool. I have seen in person front bumper being mounting by sliding rectangle stock into frame rail and havring that welded to back of bumper

Seems a whole alot stronger

Going wheeling this weekend, if he shows up I will snap a photo of it

I have seen that in the rear but not the front. 95% of the ones I have seen on the market are this way lol

If you find a way to rip the front bumper off with this mount then you are doing something wrong lol. I put my old bumper through some **** and it held up along with the rest of the XJ community with front bumpers

If that's the case then I would not worry about a front bumper. I'd start on an axle swap
