There are sixty teams, and it is judged by NASA engineers. I am sure there is a prize but I know not what it is, lol. A scholarship I think?
Our team doesn't have a prayer of winning, so we never really checked into it. We only had $4000, and my team of six senior undergrad capstone engineers, and a lot of the other teams have tens of thousands of dollars of support and 20+ member teams with undergrads, grads, and professors. We are just going to try and have fun and enjoy getting a free week trip to Cape Canaveral

PS: Here is a short video of our full systems test we had to create for NASA. We designed and built every single thing and did all the programming. Obviously we didn't build the motors and actuators and things like that.

HOLD THE PHONE!?!?! Is N's steering OTK??? I found those inserts he was talking about thru ballistic fab. I wasnt confident in my ability to ream my knuckles myself without over reaming it. But drilling it out straight and welding in the inserts i can do. I do the same thing to the pitman arm to right? Im thinking about getting it now.

Im looking at randys R&P. Im kinda looking for a gear set. So its a package deal save a little bit of money. I know gears arent a place to skimp tho. You mihgt hate me for saying this. But RC has one from motive for like $500. Complete kit, fronts & rear, with overhaul kits.

you can use it as over or under. I made a kit for a friend and he used it OTK and didnt hit anything. But he doesnt run a sway. But yea just put the inserts in the other way and there you go OTK!

Its a Locked 30. Has new brakes/ball joints/wheel bearings/ and the 1-ton steering already set up. All of those parts were less than 2-3k miles ago. Its going to go under the other jeep unless you make me an offer i cannot refuse.
