Without fab work use a d30, you can make them pretty strong with chromo axles, but if your fabbing you will need upper and lower brakets, a truss, spring perches, track bar bracket, shock tabs. And that's a d44. If I were you I'd just do a d30 and if you felt you needed it chromo axles, but to do a full on swap it will cost some coin, and that's if you know how to fab stuff up, and if you don't it will cost that much more

Rotflmao!!! A 30 is a front axle a 35 is a rear, if your gonna upgrade the rear do a 8.25 its an easy upgrade and a much stronger axle than the 35, what year is your xj anyway? It might already have the 8.25

It would be a good upgrade from a 35. It has 3.55 gears if you are serious ill sell it. make an offer. itll be sitting on the side of the garage before too long.

Is it a direct swap? If so my low ball offer would be $125 what is your counter?
