Ok, so after sitting on it all night and this morning (and the past few weeks) - looks like I've sold myself on a 3" lift and go with 31's(eventually). The Rough Country series 2 kit comes with control arms and my bushings will get done at that time. I'm going to use it as my primary vehicle, but have a company-provided work van that will help. I will need the Jeep for around town, fishing, hunting, kid taking and such and don't have the funds for the lift. I will probably have the kit in a few weeks but NO time until mid June. Should I spend the money getting the front end knocked over (aligned) even though the bushings are soggy or is this just a total waste until the lift is ready to happen?? There's a pain-in-the-can squeak starting at 45mph coming from driver side. Probably the reason the previous owner put the steering stabilizer and its holding off the wobble and I'm getting a bushing vibration, but front end is way outa line.
There's not a ton of play in the bushings but it will get worse. I'm not taking it off road any time soon...and won't until I know it's solid.
As you can probably guess - I'm wishywashy and will probably change my mind in a few hours... ;-)
Cheers!
