Got the the 13th and 14 off today. My plans are made to go. Do you guys got cbs or run walkies? I dont have a cb but could prolly get a handheld one.

 

I don't use one, I have my cell and I'm not to lazy to walk if I get stuck lol

 

I dont have reception out there and don't have a CB lol.

 

I can text but cannot get any calls out there lol. My wife wil be there and were taking her xj too. So there should always be someone close by to help out. Blackolive im going to be there around noon or so. then customizer around 6 or 7 ish.

I'll make it a point to be there by noon. If I get there early, I'll get bored and wind up doing something stupid. That or I'll wind up passed out before noon...

Real quick before i have to look it up lol.... I have a 99 xj with a 242 and 8.25. Swapping to a 35 will my drive shaft work? I know the ujoint is the same but is the d.s. length the same?

 

I think the ds is 1.25" longer for the 35. I may be wrong. I have a 29" (u-joint to u-joint centers) that came out of my 99 it was too long when I swapped out to my older 94 tcase. (both 231's).
It is brand new with new u-joints. If it will work you can have it.
