Hi all, havn't posted in a while but I am posting to the Great Lakes section as I figure you guys around here would know better then those that never see snow.
My issue is that I just bought some new Goodyear Wrangler Radials a few months ago. My original plan was to use the Goodyears for summer, then switch to my 32" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ for winter. However, I have been reading a lot of mixed reviews about the MT Baja MTZ on packed snow/ice which most of you know is what the roads are mostly up here as I'm located in the Capital of Michigan.
I have read the MTZ's are great for deep snow which I have experienced last winter as I used those last winter. I did however spin out on the highway once last year only going 25-30 MPH although it was pretty much pure ice. I don't do offroading ever, so I'm wondering what your guys thoughts are, if I should just stick to the wranglers or use the MTZs.

I am going to keep what everyone says in mind for when I need to get new treads. I have in mind these tires, http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/32x...&t_pn=PCT55032 because if I go with 32" tires they are stud-able (I don't think the 33s' and taller are stud-able) and I was thinking about buying 6 of them and studding two for winter driving. But I have a lot of tread on my km2s witch are worthless on the ice!

The BFG KO's are great in the snow and are pretty well priced compared to most other tires, they're actually a great tire for all seasons.
