Michigan Jeepers 4th of July Camping Trip?
Alright guys as some of us know we have a successfully planned and organized the cruise to the Jeep Blessing. This year will be our second annual cruise I am loving how the group is expanding and growing and with a little bit of help I would love to see us become an established group with yearly outings. Me and the wife were chatting the other night and thought it would be awesome to have a 4th of July camping trip. Something that would be a little closer to home and a little less costly so more of us could get together. I have a few plans in mind but first I would like to see how many of us would be interested in this and we can also discuss this amongst those of us that are attending the blessing.

Guess there isn't as much interest as I thought but the tenative plan is one that i have been doing for a couple years. I camp at Twinwood Lake in Newaygo it is a rustic campground (no running water or electricity) they have out house facilities and picnic tables and fire rings it is a nice campground and usually pretty quite. Another awesome thing is it is literally 10 minutes from some of my local wheeling spots. Usually I try and go tubing down the muskegon river on saturday which is a blast if anyone hasn't gone before and I plan on trying to get a pretty good fireworks display together possibly get a few of us together for a little road trip to Indiana to gather supplies. Which some of you may be happy to know are no longer illegal in michigan our wonderful govenor got rid of the firework laws and the awesome helmet law for motorcycles. I would like this to be a family event get everyone together for a fun weekend where we can give a go at organizing meals and fun for everyone.

Issue.....July 4th is on a wed. I have June 29, 30 and July first off. I have July 4th and 5th off. But the week end after July 4th I'm working. So I'm up for it but it really depends on the dates. I have already burned up my vacation time so I can only use my regular days off.
Also I'm up for making our group into a regular club.

I hadn't even looked at a calender when I posted this lol but I think the weekend of the 29th thru the 1st would be great. We now have a base plan let's see if the idea grows we'll will also like I said we will elaborate more on this at the blessing.

It sounds like a ton of fun. It'd go if it wasn't in the middle of the week. I only have July 4th off and it would be a road trip over to you guys! Hope you have fun! Post tons of pictures!
