If we were over by my dad's house which is down by the michigan/indiana border, we'd be able to just wheel in my back yard over there because it's a farm and get's plowed in november - from then on it's a mud pit!
hmm? what is this orv class you mention. There isnt any required orv class needed. Just need the sticker, run to meijer and ask for one at the fishing/hunting area, they just take the number off the top of your drivers license. Oh, and recovery points

and lemme know if you go wheeling anytime soon, your close to where im at (shelby twp)

Oh, Awesome! I heard from a few friends that you have to take a two day class to be able to obtain an ORV sticker. Since you said it was that easy; I'll have to get a sticker soon so we can go! I'm getting new tires put on my XJ this friday so it'll help going through mud and stuff. Want to plan on sometime in October? The only reason I'm thinking about next month is because I just got my '96 last week and it needs a bit of work before I can fully trust it enough to wheel.

I didn't realize it was that easy either. You just have to have recovery points on the front and back? I need to put some tow hooks in the front of mine

no lol. i dont know where you people got the info from, but all you gotta do is go to meijer or similar and ask for the sticker. you dont need recovery points at all actually. i just said that as a serious "joke" because its not a great idea to go wheeling without them. No 2 day class or vehicle inspections at all.
