I have been trying to organize something, but no ones schedule seems to be working with times and locations. I am still up for meeting on the weekends if anyone is interested.
I almost died! I got a careless driving ticket for "taking a turn too fast" I am assuming that the tilt of the Jeep was not a good element of this decision...
Honestly I was avoiding not running a yellow light in front of a Oakland County Sheriff and decided to get hard on the skids and then make a right turn...he wasn't a fan of the maneuver. He was a very combative person and actually had to ask him why he was yelling at me! he made my 2yr old cry! I do admit guilt, of not seeing the yellow in time...but damn!

Hey guys I'm going to be moving up to the area at the end of school because my girlfriend just took a job at the ford engineering campus up in Dearborn and I'll most likely get an engineering job at a local power utility company. I was wondering if there are any big things I can't do to my jeep up in Michigan. Any laws I should keep in mind or what cops like to pull you over for? Right now I'm in Indiana and the laws are pretty laid back. Once I start having an income the jeep will be built up for offroad and winter scenarios. Also an good shops in the area to get work done axle and hearing wise?

Yeah that's what I was wondering I want to go flare less in the near future unless I'm not supposed to. But other than that I don't have to worry about much?

not really, if you dont drive like a jack hole they wont screw with you. what area are you looking to move to? id honestly stay away from dearborn and the area around it, there is a decent amount of Crime there. I live in Ypsilanti, and yes its not the best but its not the worst either. Belleville is nice since its 15-20min to either Ann Arbor or Detroit, and like 5 min from Ypsilanti. My wife and I will probably end up in Belleville or somewhere slightly south since i want a house with property(2+ acre's) and in the area i currently live that's kinda hard to find.
