Lol well it's better than working 12s or 16s 6 days a week like my dad does..are you from the region as well?

 

They are 12s. 9am-9pm one week 9pm-9am the next. Alternates every week

 

Hey I'm sure it's pretty good money though lol. Shift work does suck though...im on my phone so I can't see everyone's info but where are you from?

Just noticed this thread. I'm originally from martinsville, but I currently have a house and wood stove heated garage in Merrillville, (actually closer to Griffith). I'd be up for a meet, or offering my place to meet. I work for a supplier in ArcelorMittal harbor east, 6-7 days a week, but if it's in the evening, I'll try to work it out.

yeah for sure...I know I do. I want to make it more broad to encompass the entier chicaagoland area. I like meeting new people and I hear there are a few places within reasonable diving distance in Illinois. I figure the more area and different kind of vehicles we include the better. I am always down for learning new things and meeting new people. I would like to keep it mostly Jeep oriented though.
If you wanted to merge the groups im down for it by all means.
I also drive/have owned a few cars and I am part of a chicagoland race group thats like 400 strong that always has something going on.
At some point I would love to have that kind of following, that is why I want to branch out a bit.
Thoughts?

 

there must be a blue zillion zj's runniing around here. on a daily basis. mine is pure stock and most likely stay that way... but there is a bunch of guys that go wheeling around here in New Palestine because I see them on the weekends all muddy and big grins... you are about an hour from me.. your southwest of indy and I'm southeast. been to Brooklyn several times .. used to deliver the Pepsi to the store in town there.

 

I just noticed there are an awful lot of us up late.. LOL
