btw, there is one small dying club here in the county and then there is a Central Indiana club. Been thinking of setting something up myself too but lately haven't had time between getting my shop together for the winter and getting my off road toy back together so I can go out and play again.

I will be stuck at home working on winterizing the shop and working on the off road toy so I can get it out of the shop. But mostly I want to get out and play..... guess now I may as well fix the heater too, hopefully it's only the blower motor.
If anyone is wanting something to do they can come help on the shop and or the toy. I need someone who's good on roofs and someone who has a mig welder....gotta cut out those darn rear spring bolts in front of the rear wheels
and then weld up the holes and my arc welder would just burn right through this thin stuff.

We hit the trails Saturday and got them cleaned up for the Jeep Jam just before the rain hit.
I was quite impressed how well my stock, yet broken, suspension on street tires did. There is a lot more hairy stuff this year. I highended once and thought I was going to have to be pulled out, but was able to wiggle enough to get out.
I ended up pulling my buddy off a stump, I never dis get stuck. If I had wanted to, I'm sure I could have though.
Another Cherokee (Harper) and I followed the Bulldozer through as he cut new trails.
It's a great layout this year. Nothing too crazy. Most is setup for "Newbys" to get out with their factory rigs to push their limits and see what they really can do.
There is plenty to seriously test your built rig too, to include some serious mud pits, hill climbs and swamps.
Winch or Tow points are a must for everyone!
We're hoping to setup a rock garden one of these years. Just won't have it this year.
They are only allowing 250 Jeeps this year, so preregistration is also a must!!!!
I plan to work the trails this year as a safety. Look for the big orange Moose and/or my Purple "Wanna grow up" XJ with www.JeepUpOrShutUp.com plastered all over it.
I'm hoping to have my mud tires on by then. I need to patch one that has a slow leak.
Do a Google for O'DZ Jeep Jam. Proceeds go to the local DAV.
I hope to see you there!
