im 178 miles from haspin.. i try to make it down there about twice a year.. im from the northwest part of ohio... my first trip down will be for memorial day weekend.. going to be my first trip in this jeep.. ive only took bike and quad before but the jeep is were its at for that place

 

lol. well.. my first jeep. but i dont plan on gettin rid of this one for a good while. with 200,000 miles and made a 9 hour trip through the mountians coming from wva. my priorities r my 4wheel drive. but ne who.. yea i'll probly go to sullivan this weekend.. i.ll let ya know how it is, and maybe we could make a group trip

 

well cant wait too have ya down man. we.ll have too try and do a group ride or somthin when u come down.

 

Sounds good well my first jeep was a 98 Cherokee I had 4 in lift and 33/10.5 on it also a dd but lost it in the brake up with the baby moma my second was a 85 2dr 5sd 2.8 v6 I had 35/12.50 on it and it was great just a play toy but blew up the 2.8 so I sold it to a friend and now I just got this 99 a few weeks ago

They are great my 99 has 233,000 on it and going strong

 

are you real close to haspin then i take it?? that place is always a great time on memorial day weekend.. right now me and budys have planed to bring my xj my budys camanchee and a nuther budys 98 5.9er and a couple quads on a semi hopefully.. a big group would be awesome though for sure

just dont use the FRAM OIL FILTER... i gues those are bad on those motors... i loved my 4.0 it had 170k and i put it threw a beating over the past summer.. i finally got it nocking the last mud run of the year... still ran when i scraped it though... bonced rev alot they take a beating for sure... i like my sbc powered cherokee though there so easy to tune and make more power for dirt cheap... i got the jeep with a stock 350 runing and driving for 700 bucks... i bought a banshee for 475 bucks put a few mods on it and had 675 bucks in and traded it straight up for the jeep... i beat that 350 for a month and parked it and traded my other quad for my 383 stroker motor pushing 505hp to the crank.. its not droped in just have to wire it in and the rest of the jeep as well because i gutted it all and starting over and going for a clean engine bay look hopefully

 

im like 2.5 away.. but im with him... im game. as long as it.s some good trialin.. cant break my xj is the only thing, but I'v had worse in worse I'm sure. haha

its a joy toy for sure... i only get joy when im beating the hell out of it... i have never owned anything that gets babyed... i dont put a ton of money into things to keep them nice and perfect.. i put it in it to have fun and do it all over again... im just tryin to get it lookin good for the 4x4 jamboree in lima ohio.... i built and lifted my 93xj up over summer beat the hell out of it for the rest of the summer and fall and now its in the scrap yard lol i hope this one last me a few years though i got a GREAT amount more money in this one compared to the 93
