How much is it to transfer a title get the temp plates and the real plates with stickers?

 

Around 275 if i recall right i just plated my 95 a month or so ago

 

i transfer my title (out of state) and old plate from the 92 to 98 and it cost $155. i forgot take off my city sticker on the '92. am so pee off cuz the buyer won't answer my text. he can't use them any way it got my plate number on it plus he live all the way in jolie. might be cheaper in the 'burbs for you? btw im not sure if this apply to cook county only or all in illinois but if you buy car/truck from private owner you will have to pay a non retailer tax. you will get a letter in the mail. mine was $90 for the '92 probably will get another tax bill for the '98 in couple months.

That's a Cook county deal. Cook has to get paid too you know! I did my transfer & plates at a Currency Exchange & I think it ran me little over $200. That's with the state tax included.
