track bar fell off last night lol. At the axle, the bolt was gone. Was surprised that I could make it home, just had to turn the wheel 3x as much as usual.. Didn't go over 30 though. Was scary as **** though

 

Anyone have 30's or 235 tires with good threat for sale? Before I go to SAMs clubs and buy brand new ones

 

I've got 3 30" unbalanced tires with ok tread if you need a spare

 

was looking more for tires with 85%+ threat. Need tires that will last me a while. Got me a 2nd job at ohare UPS then I have to go back to Northbrook UPS For my first job. Gonna be doing a lot of driving. We'll see how gas mileage treats me.

What kind of track bar did you have? Why did the bolt come out? Your axle would have been moving back and forth with every turn, only the control arms would be keeping it from shifting more.

 

Rc adjustable. I'd been hearing some rattling lately but couldn't pinpoint it. I guess the bolt was just coming loose. I hit some bumps at about 55 and bam. Heard it dragging on the ground and saw some chick at the next stop light looking at it, I guess it was sparking lol. I was only about half a mile from home so I just babied her the rest of the way

too late now i already got front fenders and picking up doors monday. im going to stick with the plan and fix up the '92. if i never bought this '92 i prob would bought yours cuz i was desperately searching for a xj.

 

It didnt use a locking nut or jam nut or anything like that on the axle end?

 

So Friday morning it rained n my belt started constantly squeaking for the first time since I replaced it n didn't stop so I got it warrantied n put new belt on and no noise after that all day yesterday but start it up this morning and it's immediately squeaking again...WHAT THE HELL!

ANY IDEAS?

 

I don remember, reused the stock one, whatever that is

 

Going to be needing some real tires soon, anyone know of any good deals on some 33s or 35 m/ts let me know.
