Great Lakes Introductions
Hello, Don here from central MI. I wheel a 93 XJ and the wife has a 2000 XJ. We are rangers at Rocks and Valleys off Road Park in Harrison.. If anyone is interested in coming up to the park let me know. I always up for some good wheelen....
So hello all,
I have changed out the front u-joints; changed out the upper and lower radiator hoses, replaced the drivers seat, and put in a re-usable air filter.
I just tried to cut the hoses that go from the thermostat housing to the heater valve and the valve was so brittle it broke. I called the mehcanic guy who is going to look at the rear brake cyllinders and told him what happened. I had picked up a new serpintine belt and heater hose for it this morning and now I have to get another hose and heater valve. The mechanic said that it would have to be replaced anyway. I am hoping that the rear brakes are o.k. and the leak will be a minor one. I am trying to get it ready for winter up here and am finding that this Jeep was not well cared for before I got it two weeks ago. My story with this Jeep is like one posters comment...Just Empty Every Pocket. I still like the Jeep and I have the wife helping me look for parts, which is a big change from the 2007 Mustang I had. She hated the car. The big help is that the father in-law has two Jeeps that are 1987's and mine is still in better shape. Luckily I will also have the radiator checked for why the opening under the cap still leaks. I think it is worn. Any comments about your own Jeeps problems would be great. I will continue to try a post pics here, but so far the pics are too big on the pixels.

Im from Cleveland, Ohio. Not a lot of places around here to trail unless you travel fairly far. I just purchased my Cherokee this year and as soon as the divorce will allow it I plan on some upgrades. As of now however,
...well you know how it is...

WI. sorry. I finally got the hoses fixed and the Jeep is not leaking coolant anymore. All of the hoses are new now. I will hae it inspected in the morning for the rear passenger brakes that are leaking. Dont know if it is a hose or cyllinder. I will upgrade the Jeep as I have the time and money to. Runs good at 174000 miles. 4 wheel drive is still good and will have to upgrade the mirrors soon. Not looking forward to this winter except for the Jeep and no more mustang in the ice and snow. Plan on making trips with it up north WI. Hello all. Enjoy the football season.

Hey are you a ranger in the natural forestry with the swat training ranges and the outdoor gun ranges? Or is this out further by Stuebenville?
