Well folks time for another go around at Cliffs, Illinois' newest off road club Down & Dirty will be hitting the trails of Cliffs Insane Terrain on May 23rd. We will be meeting in the Cliffs parking lot at 10am. Look for 2 gentlemen, Tim who is rolling in a black 99 Cherokee with a Warrior front bumper and myself Matt, who will be in a black 98 Cherokee with a Rusty's stinger bumper. We will also have information on the club if anyone has been looking to get into a club. Hope to see you guys out there!!!

ok, i'll hitup the site, what places do you guys usually wheel?

 

This year we are hitting a bunch of places, Cliffs, which is my favorite park to wheel, Badlands, Silver Lake, Rockport and a few other places, we have this years events posted on our website at ddoffroad.com

 

Im about 90% sure I will make it out for this...

My rusty 90 Burgandy/Brown XJ towed by by equally rusty red Ford...

 

lol, awesome will be looking for you whowey, just look for a black 98 Cherokee with a stinger bumper from Rusty's offroad and a bunch of "go fast" stickers,

 

i looked at some of the pics of the cliffs, and i think stock height with 31's might not be equipped enough to head down there. i'm thinking the silverlake trip might be better for my truck till i get the lift on it.

 

If you have front and rear tow points... come on out. There are plenty of places you can go. There are only a handful of spots that would be too much.

The Cliff's is a whole world of difference compared to sand dunes...

 

^^^x2, I have been to Cliffs numerous times and have seen stock Cherokees go through some of the trails at Cliffs, I would be to worried about it as look as you stick to the easier trails, I would come out and check it out, its a lot of fun. Hope to see ya there

i was there this past weekend. twas a good time. kinda muddy from the rain from the few days previous. Did a fair amount of winching. Gave my freshly installed Aussie a good work out. Got a few more dents and scratches on the doors, came close to loosing driver side mirror and handles but i was able to winch off the tree. Hydrolocked one cherokee in the creek. Overall it was a pretty interesting day.

 

Sounds like a good time, Mattpar you up for a trip to Cliffs this weekend?

 

I wish, should be much better with the sun out all week and no rain. but I cant I got work friday and saturday

Man if it was the 24th I would be able to go but I have plans on the 23rd already. I hope to have the lift on my XJ done tonight (X your fingers for me!). Next time.
