I have been playing around with the idea of getting a group together in the Greater Chicagoland area for a bunch of guys that wanted to hit some trails, get dinners/have meets, part swaps, the whole nine yards.
If there isnt any interest then then thats perfectly okay.
But Im willing to help organize it, get a Facebook group going, as well as get stickers and what not made.
Any info, input, or interest, post here or PM me.

well I mean I would like to start with a Facebook group if enough people are into it...I mean we could extend it to more than just XJs...include all Jeeps, or just have a general off road thing...Im just looking for ideas and input right now..I could have a group created within 10 minutes if people want to send their Facebooks to me.
Any other ideas?

 

I was talking to some guys on the Indiana one on here, and we were trying to set up a dinner some time in December, but I think if we had our own little forum thing (my idea being Facebook) it would be alot easier to communicate and coordinate things.
It could be useful to do things like coordinate meets/dinners, buying and selling parts, helping each other out with working on each other's rigs....the list goes on.

 

yea this sounds great. im part of a group on facebook that is for IL/WI offroading.

I may be able to hook people up that run a few local shops that would be able to give discounts on alignments and such if it gets big enough (no promises though)

 

I want to keep it more local so people dont have to drive all over the place to meet up...it wouldnt be worth spending 50 bucks on gas to get a 10 or 15 dollar dinner imo lol
