Anyone interested in a Ghost Rally at the badlands if i put one on? Also this weekend.. If any members of CIXJ wants to help with the races at the badlands talk to me and I will get you a free park pass. BUT you have to show up and work the races to get the pass. I need to know about the Ghost rally by the end of this week as well.

 

Also on the ghost rally. This will be primarily to raise money for the club. So I will need people to work it with me. I need to know how many can help. I am thinking October 30th in the evening. It will be held at the badlands and will be an off road event presented by the Central Indiana XJ Club. as i said I need to know SOON so we can advertise.

 

If anyone can help at the badlands Saturday i will get you a free day pass. Let me know if you can help

 

Do you guys want to move the meeting to the day of the ghost rally?

 

hell,it doesnt matter I just want to Wheel!. I have a couple friends coming that day the 10th and are planning to run all day!! for me that day will be my last for the year unless I come across some cash for upgrades.

 

ok, I will just leave it for this weekend. I cannot wheel though. I have to replace the chain in my transfer case. Also if you are going to come try and register on the website for it so I can keep track of who is coming. lol!

 

i am planning on being there too, but unfortunately i don't think i can wheel either, wheeled on labor day weekend and I think i might have either blown out a piston ring or have a bad valve seal. started blowing blue smoke on the trail...

Yeah, its kind of odd...blew smoke on the trail, but by the time I got out and went back to the campground it never smoked again. I have put almost 1200 miles on it since then and have yet to blow smoke out the tailpipe, but I am going through a quart of oil every 1000 miles... Not sure if we blew a valve seal or a piston ring...any thoughts.

Also, where at the badlands are we meeting on Sunday? Don't necessarily wanna pay entrance fee to come to the meeting if we are not gonna wheel, know what I mean?

 

Sounds almost like a valve seal but then again it also sounds kinda like a piston ring.. that is a tough one. I would start with the valve seal. I can ask my mechanic and let you know this weekend. As far as meeting, I understand I guess we could meet out side the park by the office. Or down along the sides. I think its only going to be you dirtmod and myself. I have not heard from Neil for awhile or the other guy in here. I think thatcarguy is mad i let grand cherokees in the club. Not sure but i think. Where do you guys want to meet at?

 

Well, I reckon we could meet out at the entrance by the tire store...that way we would be out of the way and then decide what we wanna do from there. I may do a little light wheeling, but just gotta see how the heep is acting Sunday. Do you already have the stickers with the logo made up?

 

They are ordered. I ordered shirts as well but I am still waiting on them. If they are not here today i will just have to mail them out. So far its looking like you and I are going to be the only ones there.

 

Nice, so the two guys that probably can't wheel will be driving to the badlands...hehehe....that seems kind of ironic, doesn't it.

 

Lol We are awesome :P Well we can at least talk about some club stuff and I can get your input and etc. Are you going to pay to come in and play or do you want me to meet you around the front..
