Default Anyone know Gears? Illinois, NW indiana guys?

ok guys/ gals Im located in NE illinois and was wondering if anyone knew of a good reliable place to get my axles re-geared for bigger tires. Im located 45 min south of Chicago and was hoping to get this done before winter. anyone reliable around here?

JpDocDave is really good... but he is way up in Antioch. That's a long ways from you.

Crown point is ALOT closer than Antioch to Minooka.... Dave has been posting on ComancheClub.... but he has been really overwhelmingly busy.

ok thanks guys. just curious but what would a normal shop charge for gear swap? 350 an axle sounds like a hell of a deal but still a little curious. and maybe some of you can lead me in the right direction but what exactly do I need to purchase to have someone do the swap? and any impreticular brand I should go with?

most shops are 4-500 plus supplies. You will need gears and install kits or you can get them through the shop. and new gear oil of course.
