Any interest in a Michigan XJ get-together?
Any interest in a Michigan meet?
I feel as if their are several of us in the state that want/need wheeling buddies. No one likes to wheel alone, its just not smart.
I suppose if there is enough interest we can all decide on a location as a group. If the age bracket fits we can grab some drinks. Or hit a sports bar so the young'ins can meet up as well.
Be a good way to see who is close to one another for when that lift project comes up and you need an extra hand.
Just an idea, lets hear some thoughts.

Sounds good to me... A couple of us were also thinking of possibly going from Michigan to Ohio to that jeepskool.com place. 1500 acres of maintained trails and so on. Free camping. Take a look at their website.
We're over in Grand Haven so we'd have to swing by you on our way. Maybe we could all go down on a Friday afternoon or early Saturday, camp overnight and wheel the next day...
We were up a Silver Lake last weekend... That's always a possibility too.

Happy to see all the replies.
Mike, this weekend I have to start rebuilding the front end. It shakes at anything above 55mph. Might be tire balance so taking it in to have it looked at. But want to check at jeep skool after seeing some pictures. So let me know if you go again.

Sounds good... We were going to wait on Ohio until it's a little warmer since all we have are tents. Then I think the Jeepskool trip could become a reality. Will keep you posted.

I would love to do an XJ meet up. Granted I think I might be the only XJ left in our club now... lol

We're going to Silver lake in 2 weekends. Saturday the 24th... I imagine we'll get there before 9:00 am.

No plans to camp at this time, but who knows... It's less than 1.5 hours from my house so a day trip is easy for us. We should meet up...
I'm sure many others will be there as well.
I can PM you my cell phone number... coverage is a bit spotty in the dunes but it's better this year than past years.
Hopefully the weather is cooperative!

i got an xj still the factory settings but looking for place to go four wheeling. I am near Grand Rapids area so if anybody is close by please let me know please!!
