I went camping/ trail riding in Kisatchie NF this weekend and it was a good time! I don't know if anyone has ever been up that way but it was worth the trip from Sulphur. Lots of back roads, forestry trails, atv/ohv trails, and mud holes (for you guys that don't hate mud as much as me) lol but all in all better then sitting on my *** at the house.... oh and i found out you can camp pretty much anywhere on the NF as long as you are 25 yards off of the main roads fyi

I have a new track bar coming in Tuesday that I hope will help me with my death wobble. However, I need an extra hand and some concrete to work on (gravel driveway). If anybody would be willing to help me out I can provide some compensation (money, beer, whatever). I'm around Lafayette.

I just moved to La and my jeep is in mandeville. I teach at LSU so either location I drive my xj. Need a place to get her covered in mud.

In norco, la south of airline highway the spillway is open to the public. There is also an off-road park near nola motorsports that you pay to get into. I don't know of places north of the lake.

Let us know in here when you plan on going, there's a few guys in the area that go out there. I only have 2wd right now but as long as someone doesn't mind pulling me out I'm usually up to going to the spillway.

Anyone want to go to the spillway this weekend. I wanna check it out and do some mild playing as I am not sure what its like there. I do not have a snorkel and not sure if I need it to drive back there. I do have a winch if you get stuck.
