So long as I can get plenty of heads up, just about any time should be good for me.

I was totally thinking that exact location when I posted about a meeting place. That would be an awesome place to have it. They have awesome food there too.

I have this knocking noise when I punch it at a dead stop (Its not the motor or tranny). I don't know where or what would be causing it. I hear it a lot when I'm climbing on a trail in 4wd and my front end is bouncing around. When I'm driving and hit the gas to go around a slowa$$ I don't hear any knocking. Suggestions on what it could be?

I do have a busted tie rod bushing.. Could that be it? I feel it in the steering wheel over anything else.

If your feeling it in the steering wheel alot, I wouldn't be surprised if that's causing it, you'd be surprised what tiny problems can lead to huge symptoms, mine was spewing fluid from the transfer case once, turned out it was a simple o-ring from the speedo gear.
On another topic though, I'm back in four wheel drive! Got Chery regeared to 4.10, and I now have a Detroit locker in rear... I already love it just from driving around on the road. Now I just need to get 800 miles in her to break in the new gears.

Thanks.
I have a drop Pitman arm that needs to be thrown in. After that I'll get the tie rod taken care of.

The first Friday of every month sounds good as long as everyone else is game for it. I'm not exactly sure on what day the Boerne Jeep meet is because the time before last it was on a friday and this past one was on a saturday.

If you use you drag link, it's alot easier to tap the pitman arm off, or any long metal rod really, just put it down through the engine bay and give it a few taps with a hammer, and that pitman arm will pop right off.

Thanks for the tip. I've tried once before to get the pitman arm off and it wasn't moving. I'll try out what you said tomorrow.

Nice lol need a meet to show it off. Hey I'm looking at getting Rustys 8in lift what all do I need to get to be safe and not break anything. I know of something's so far lift of course sye kit with toms wood drive shaft and a steering box brace. I'm not getting bigger tires I don't have enough money so there is no need for new axles for now. Anything else y'all can think of?

Drop pitman arm and adjustable track bar but I'm sure your kit will come with those.
