Hey if any of you guys have some time, and fab skills, there is a set of sweet axles from an old Ford Bronco up for sale local. It is a HP D44 and Ford 9 inch.

If I had a bigger welder, and more space, I would be all over these.

I would LOVE to rotate the C's on my HPD30, but again, welding skills and equipment, not so much. One day, when my wife isn't paying attention, maybe I will pick up a Hobart Handler 190 or something. Then all I will need is practice, and it is off to making all kinds of cool **** for my Jeep.

Yea, can't wait to finally go wheeling for real again, it's been too long. I'll be sticking with the mild group, I haven't gotten tires yet and I only have tow hooks in front. Plus it's been at least a couple years since I've gone out.

Official-ish Marble Falls roll call!
Well it's next Saturday, so who all is going for sure from the SA area? If anyone wants to roll up as a group I'm game.
A mob of gnarly XJs hitting the highway? Cool. Or a string of us broken down on the highway... Lol, either way could be fun.
Anyhow, my name's in the hat, I'm officially in.

I'm in, but I'm keeping with the beginner group this time around, been YEARS since the last time I went wheeling, plus mine still has near-stock size tires.

Anyone here good with paint? I'm trying to do something with my front diff cover, but it turned out horrible. At least I was able to scrape it off, so it's back to just being black...
