I swear- 4 Jeeps now, any time I ask a relevant question about it, they break communication, and want nothing to do with me... pissing me off. First one I asked if they have a picture of the engine, they said they'd get one the next day: it's been a week. Next, I ask for the VIN- silence, then I ask a third if he has any pictures of the rust on his rockers, they'll have it tomorrow, three days ago... and the fourth hung up after I asked if it has any rust.

Do these people want to sell or not? Cause you don't sell a vehicle like this... I might just break and get a WJ.

And ya, I've dealt with the same CL crap, frustrating as hell.

 

I got a 1999 Classic in "Gunmetal Pearl" with ~185,000 miles on it. It has a little surface rust on the rockers, nothing serious though. Also it's got what some people will probably mock me for wanting- an NP242 transfer case. Full-time 4x4, woo! I know it's slightly weaker than the 231, but I daily drive mine, and I plan on going slow and easy on this one.

 

Nice, great looking rig man. Ya, maybe not the popular choice TC, but if it serves your purposes, rock it. Mine serves DD duty too, I have fun with her, but I don't beat her up too bad off road cause I still gotta drive her to work afterwards, lol!

 

if you need help building her up, give me a call, ill be moving into a house in 5ish months so ill have a driveway and garage to work out of. my xj will be gettings its gm 5.3 then

she looks clean, ive been looking for another xj to dd since mines been over heating lately and my new job requires a lot of driving
