Do you know if it's still there? I would be willing to take off work to come get it!

If the battery is good, and you have charged it, I would think it would start. It might not stay running for a long period of time.

I had this problem and I about lost my mind trying to find it. What I found on mine was a burnt wire. The wire on the inside had broken but the insulation was still in tact so it looked fine. On your passenger side by the battery there is a small metal box with wires coming off a stud on it. I think its your ignition box if I remember right. it goes to your coil and a bunch of other stuff. Go through each wire and pull it like your pulling apart a noodle. If any of those wires are spongy and soft and stretch, replace the wire or cut it and reconnect the wire. You may have burnt one up. this is what happened to me on the trail and resulted in 7 hours of being pulled out by a Toyota FJ and a 1000 dollar tow truck ride back to my house. if you need more specific info on location I can take a picture of it this evening for you. Hope it works. I bought lost my mind trying to figure this one out and replacing almost everything that had to do with ignition.
