I've seen a few Austin bites but nothing from San Antonio specifically.
We've got a good group of guys here in SA on SAOffroad.com. We have quite a few jeeps and I reference cherokeeforum quite a bit for my own work on my jeep!

But we have a few pay to play areas around, some people wheel regularly. We have local meets and weekend meets.

If its not okay to reference other sites, sorry ...but really we're all just one big community sharing the same interests!

Probably not alot of people checking this section i guess, but Id be shocked if there werent at least a few dozen in this area.

A bunch of us were planning on hitting up Clines Saturday for a 1 day, and others are going to Hidden Falls for the weekend. So stuff is going on if ya'll were lookin to do something.

Only thing that may change plans is the weather..

about 6 or 10 liberty guys in austin / san antonio area on some of the liberty sites. they have made treks down here for some island time before and we meet up with them in the wife's liberty so all the kids can play together

 

I've been keeping my eye out on this section!!! I'm in Kyle...south of Austin. I've been looking for places to go play in the area...(20-30min) drive! lol It has been raining pretty good here lately. Let me know of any places!

 

as long as the weather isnt too bad, a bunch of us are going to Clines (north of San Antonio) for just a day, Saturday. meet up at Home Depot on the north side around 8am and caravan up. Think its only like a 30-45 min trip..?

I get a vast amount of knowledge from this site, but this sites problem is just that, its so broad as far as where people are from, its nice to have local forums and groups to wheel with. The people on SAO are pretty knowledgable too, and the age range avg is probably mid 20s-40s, with everything above and below too!

I met Dan this past weekend! Saturday, about 7 or 8 of us got our rigs up to Clines and had a blast! Theres even a video on youtube of me bustin one of my Baja Claws...
He seemed like a cook guy for sure!
