Its one of the new spots to cross the creek. Once you get in there you can cruise up the creek to the normal creek crossing spot.

 

Cool cool we are suppose to be Makin a Wheelin trip out there soon. Im actually in the middle of putting my 4.5 x flex kit on right now and also my 1 ton steering. And I ordered a Aussie and Hopfully I can get it b4 we go!

 

Ok, this will be a little off topic, but what clubs are best to join out here? thought about HJP or Lone Star. I am still here in Texas and prolly will be here for a while. So till then, i really need to hook up with a few guys who share my interest in jeeps and passion for fourwheeling. My wife is excited to get back out on the trails and with fall approaching, plans for rides need to be made.

 

Don't waste your time with HJP. They should be called "houston jeep Wrangler people, who only go to the beach". If ya have an xj with that crowd they act like you dont exist. I have a few buddies that visit the site in my sig that I wheel with.

 

I ended up wheelin with some guys from NAXJA one time. there was about 5 of them and said they plan trips often. But that was the only time I ever saw them. Me and my buddies wheel quite a bit but it's all type of rigs not just xjs or jeeps.

 

Hey ya'll im in houston near Reliant... I wheel with 92mallcrawler often. Ive been not wheeling since about 4th of july due to shearing the front output shaft of my t-case...still not fixed... But hopefully soon it will be cuz I need some offroad time! lol

 

I see general sam's has a Halloween ride planed.. Any one goin to that? I'm sure creekside and the park in Crosby will have something aswell.

 

What does general sams offer? Is it just mud or are there trails and rocks? Are there different levels-like beginner to hardcore? Sorry for all the questions.

 

They used to have a small rock section... Mostly mud.. They have camp spots I think it's 10 per car and 5 per extra rider. It's over 700 acres.
